GOOD MORNING AND WELCOME BACK                                                Today we will learn to find the Highest Common Factor by  the  Continuous Division Method.  In this method   you could find the HCF using fewer steps. This method is faster. It only requires a bit of practice, however. Good morning boys, this is your 8th lesson. The topic for today is other rules of divisibility. 1. if a number is divisible by another number, then it is divisible by each of the other factors of that number. Eg. 9 is a factor of 18.        3 is a factor of 9. Therefore 3 and 9 are both factors of 18. Take 2 is a factor of 6 and it also divides 18, therefore 2,3,6,9 are factors of 18. 2. if a number is divisible by 2 co prime numbers then it is divisible by its product. Eg. 80 is divisible by 5 and 4. So, its is divisible by 5 X 4= 20 also, 80 is divisible by 5X2 =10 also  3. If 2 given numbers are divisible by a number then their sum is also divisible by the number. Eg. 16 and 20 are divisible by 4 So, 16+20=36 is also divisible by 4 16 and 20 are divisible by 2. 16+20=36, is also divisible by 2. 4.If 2 given numbers are divisible by a number then their difference is also divisible by that number.
